Orchid Society of the RBG Orchid Show at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington
Runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m on Sunday, at the RBG Centre. Admission to the show is included with your RBG admission.

Stratford Garden Festival at the Stratford Rotary Complex (353 McCarthy Road)
Display gardens, a marketplace and four days of interesting presentations on various gardening topics. Admission is only $8.00 per person.

Sid Baller, Superintendent of the Humber Arboretum, will be speaking tonight. Sid's topic will be "Cutting Remarks on Practical Pruning". The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

Marchy Meeting of the East York Garden Club at the Stan Wadlow Clubhouse
Gayla Trail, gardening writer, and creator of the popular gardening project You Grow Girl,will be our March Speaker. As an enthusiastic urban gardener, Gayla's topic will be City Gardening.This meeting also features our third People's Choice Photo Contest of the year; this month's category is "Ugly". The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m., refreshments are available at 7:00 p.m.

Re-Envisioning Your Garden at the Toronto Botanical Garden (Lawrence & Leslie)
Well-known Toronto garden writer Marjorie Harris will speak about making changes to your garden without "throwing the baby out with the bathwater". Begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Floral Hall. Admission is free for members, $20 for non-members.

Rare Native Plant Gems – Species at Risk at the Toronto Botanical Garden (Lawrence & Leslie)
What makes species rare and how are they evaluated as species-at-risk? Ecologist Jane Bowles will share some of her experiences studying the ecology, monitoring and working on recovery of endangered plant species from Wood Poppy in London to rare gems of the tallgrass prairies on Walpole island. Begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $8 for NANPS members, $12 for the general public.

For the Love of Gardening at the Evinrude Centre, Peterborough
This annual edition of this increasingly popular show will have over 180 vendors & exhibitors and Plant and Floral Design Competition. Admission is $5 per day.

Toronto African Violet Society Flower Show & Sale at the Toronto Botanical Garden (Lawrence & Leslie)

7th Annual Scugog Spring Garden Show at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre, Port Perry
Hosted by Pine Ridge Garden Club, this show features vendors, speakers, demonstrations, a flower show and garden displays. Runs from from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 a day, or $8 for the weekend. Children 14 & under free with an adult.
